Jeff Frater is always a student of the game. Even though he is the owner and head coach of a MMA studio, the role of coach is blended with continuing to learn the latest developments in all facets of fighting. Jeff has competed in Jiu Jitsu tournaments, MMA events and the infamous Dog Brothers Gathering of full contact stick fighting. All these experiences has given Jeff as a coach plenty of insight for his students and what to expect in their respective matches they compete or participate in. Starting in Kung Fu San Soo reaching 8th degree black belt Jeff was regarded as a renegade in the art because of the competition aspect rather than simply being a studio based martial artist. Jeff has also reached the level of brown in Jiu Jitsu and continues to train not for belt rank but to pursue more knowledge so he may share with his students in the years to come.
